Good question, but no source. Just conjecture. The mass media needs to generate big bucks to run those news programs. Those bucks come from advertisors. Advertisors like many veiwers. THe media gives the stories their viewers want to hear. A nice sympbotic relationship. CNN and MSNBC give stories about the foolishness of Mr. Trump.

Foxx has a different crowd to please. But they are in danger of losing their crowd.

CNN and MSNBC helped Mr. Trump win the primary in 2016. Their plan was that a dead dog Democrat could run against Mr. Trump and still win. The other R’s had a good shot at taking the presidency.

So these two networks gave many stories to Mr. Trump and not so many to the more established candidates. Well, that plan did not work out so well, did it?

Again conjecture and speculation. But every story about Mr. Trump and his antics keeps more viewers on the news, rather than Netflix or NFL or whatever.
