Has the US Constitution become too vague in these times?

If multiple interpretations are possible and SCOTUS has become too partisan, then what is the point?

The convoluted process to turn votes into an electoral decision makes things too open for abuse, as various parties try to find the edge in words.

In Canada, most voters understand how our elections work. Simple. Maybe 10 constituencies with close results need to go to court for recounts, but the other 328 constiuency have crystal clear winners. The results are pretty much know by midnight of election day. It's only a few days after that the governing party takes over.
