Hello Sam

There's old saying that goes: "Good ideas are a dime a dozen. Implementation is very hard." This certainly applies to Consensus. I envision a lot of work and setbacks and five years to get this idea working. And I'm probably underestimating the required effort.

Unfortunately, I'm not in a life position to spearhead Consensus. Even back in 2015; 2024 is less likely. Hopefully someone else has the resources and energy to move a co-operative social media outlet forward. Maybe a well functioning co-operative?

I think many more people would join Consensus if it is constructed an an efficient way to "keep in touch."

Current social media outlets fail in this objective.

----------------

I have difficulties in chatting with my neighbors. But I still try.

And I suspect that even if we became a better community, few of them would be interested in meetings that discuss things like "Should we hold our elections in spring or fall?"

And if the TDG develops the right spirit, meetings will be more enjoyable.

-------------------------

I have an article which will be published soon that satires the Democrat Party and its enthusiastic members.

But at some point, some people have to realize that they need to start things for themselves.

So true that the TDG seemingly has little purpose to it. But each neighborhood would only need 4-5 members to start. The rest will come later.
