Here is where I would put the blame.
In 2009, I finally got the pieces of my alternative democracy together. I set up a new "invention" website, with this democracy being the flagship invention. I spent about $2000 on Google ads getting Americans to this website. I got thousands of visitors.
You would think that someone clicking on ad that says something like: "A New Democracy for the 21st Century," people might want to read about this idea.
This was not the case.
I blame the people who had a chance to put the future of democracy in their own hands, but chose to let someone else fix democracy for them.
