Umair is on to something. A few days ago, The Atlantic posted an article about undersea mining. It seems the mining companies have been given a blank check to mine whatever, whenever, wherever, and however they want — when gold, cobalt, nickel, etc is on the ocean floor. Think about that for second! What does that really say about the state of governance in this world?

Umair’s solution is to elect Ms. Warren as the president of the USA. I guess if you want to go in this direction, you need only cast your vote and it’s back to Netflix, football, or whatever else that “rocks your boat” these days. Ms. Warren will fix things for us while we watch from our recliner and read more Medium articles.

If you don’t believe in Ms. Warren’s abilities, then I’m asking you to spend about 10 hours a month to build a new system of democratic governance.
