Umair has a lot of good things to say in this article. But he just can't make the connection that our current situation is directly related to our systems of governance. Just voting differently, just protesting differently, and just putting up articles on the internet differently are not going to change our democracy that much.

It is time for a new way. The current way cannot be fixed.
