I've been thinking more about your "debate" response. Initially, my killer instinct kicked in and I was looking forward to trouncing your butt. But then I realized you had defined the resolution differently than I. What does it mean to "discourage"?

And then I realized there is a skill in framing resolutions so they are less likely to be interpreted in different ways.
