Hmmm.

I don’t think we can categorize the world into these two camps. For starters, there are a lot “thinkers” who are just “dreamers.”

And there are thinkers who are very much doers, as they try to put their thoughts into action. Anyone in business needs both thinking and doing to make that business successful.

I took my son to a college basketball game. The best player on our favorite team is 33 years old. He has been dribbling from college to college since he was 18, playing ball but not getting much of an education. His NBA dream is long over. Now that’s a doer with not good thinking.

On a different doer, Calgary Stampeders had an all-star receiver by the name of Dave Sanjenis (?). He got his business degree playing university football and played six years professionally. He could have stayed longer, but he could see his body was getting beat up. He got out of football and into business. That’s a doer with a lot of thinking.
