He would not have been a contender in 2006 for public office. Something happened between then and 2016.

THere is a wrecking ball rolling down the hill of American history. That ball may stop or it may continue rolling,. We just do not know what that history is yet, that ball is going to go where it is going to go. But it doubtful that writing more anti-Trump articles for Medium is going to change its direction for the short term.

And that short-term just might be period of fascism.

Please note the War of Independence was carried through with about of third of Americans supporting it. Which is the same support for the Republican Party.
