How can we be eudaemonic society when the political parties are so far from eudaemonia? THe primary goal of any political party is to win elections — even in New Zealand. And inside any political party there are formal and informal contests for gathering status, influence, and power.
We need to move beyond the 12 Limitations of Western Democracy — and get rid of political parties altogether.
