I always thought the Dune would be part to put into a movie. So my expectations were low in 1984.

I enjoyed the movie back then and still today.

There was another Dune series after that, maybe 2000. I had the DVDs. I enjoyed that, but it was not as good as Lynch's version.

Maybe when I see the new one, I'll have a different perspective.
