I always wondered about this Moldavan language, how a dialect became a new language.

Maybe an article on current political affairs in Moldovia are in order. Last I heard, Russia was successful in installing a puppet regime (for the time being).

Do you have any insights in Ruthenian? There is lots of discussion about whether it is a Slovak dialect, a Ukrainian dialect, or its own language.
