I am finding it more difficult to engage in conversation as I age. Is it because the quality of conservation is coming down? Or maybe just old age?

A few years, I was a parent watching my son at Tae-Kwon-Do class. One grandfather didn’t have a cellphone, so he was trying to converse with us. But he was such an opiniated S.O.B., I didn’t want to talk to him.

Twenty-five years ago, I became a Bahai. One of our tenets (and we are somewhat good at it) is the elimination of gossiping and backbiting. While my striving to attain this state has improved my outlook on life, it sure leaves a lot of common conversion off limits. Kind of hard to talk to gossipers!
