I am serious. One of the reasons for the invasion is the Russian oligarchy could not skim as much money from their Ukrainian playground. Zelenskyy was making reforms in this direction.

From my armchair, I would say that this reason was even bigger than the supposed NATO threat. But nobody is saying this. NATO is only a smokescreen to convince average Russians.
