I am someone who has "recovered" from childhood abuse. I put the word in quotation marks because I'm not sure one totally gets over this life situation. I have to be cautious in that I still might have some more life lessons to learn and apply.

While this article is great at pointing out the collective mental illness, it suggests one side is mentally ill and the other is mentally well.

One sign of a mental illness is an unwillingness to consider, let alone accept, good advice.

For 24 years, I have been promoting an alternative version of democracy. From my perspective, the political left is just as guilty at "not considering this advice" as the political right. Both sides are showing signs of collective mental illness.
