Covid 19 was a warning shot across the bow. THe next virus could be asymptomatic for a very long time, then extremely lethal.

Mr. Lees has summarized that current political institutions cannot deal with this kind of crisis. We should have had both medical and economic plans in place for this crisis. We didn't. It is time for a new way of governing.

I will be leaving Medium soon. Another life project will be taking my time, which means I have to put the TDG on shelf (for the 5th time). It seems average people either believe the current system will fix itself or don't want to put the 10 hours a month to make the TDG work.

Maybe the world needs to get more dire before I am taken seriously.
