I couldn't follow how this Rube Goldberg machine is supposed to work; maybe some pictures would have helped. But it's understandable why most of us Medium writers cannot justify such pictures.

I did understand the absurd economics of capturing low ppm CO2 from air. The best solution is to emit less CO2 in the first place. Let the plant life sop up the extra CO2 in time.

I almost fell for another crazy idea a while back. Some Medium writer suggested building big ships with solar panels. The ships would use the energy to evaporate water in the oceans, putting clouds into the air. Clouds reflect heat back to space. More clouds means more water for the land (hopefully on drier parts of the world). But then I thought, the sun's energy is already evaporating the ocean water. How does going through solar panels get more water into the air?
