But when Hamas outlawed elections shortly after the first Gaza election, the pro-Palestinian elections should have been on the street at that time--if a better life for the Gazans was the main objective. Whatever faults western democracy may have, it does give citizens the right to throw out bad governments. That changes how the governors govern.
