I don't know enough about Lisa and Alaska politics to comment wisely on this part of your response.

I am in favor of RCV over FPTP electoral structures.

However, when we elect politicians because they are celebrities, I would have to agree that RCV won't solve much.

And yes, it is plausible that certain forces are pushing RCV just because they want Lisa elected--and not really caring what happens after Lisa.

Time for a new way, I would say.
