I don't think there is much WE can do in the short term. The short term history of the USA is being decided by the secret meetings of the senior military leaders and back room players of both parties. Everyone is sizing each other up; there are likely factions within the military.

The Republicans have an out with their stolen election hypothesis. That is a bad sign that "voting for Democrats because they are not Republicans" is not going to have much effect--terms of the upcoming oligarchy.

Mr. Trump could pass away soon. That will delay the process by a couple of years. But the Republicans will find a new populist leader, probably a smarter leader.
