I found several definitions of "projection" on Wikipedia that might apply. Maybe this is the one that you are thinking of:
"Psychological projection is a defense mechanism in which the ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves by attributing them to others.[1] For example, a bully may project their own feelings of vulnerability onto the target. It incorporates blame shifting and can manifest as shame dumping."
There was a time, many years ago, when I thought voters needed to be tested for competence. But the more I thought about it, I could only conclude that universal suffrage is the only way for a democracy to work. My alternative system of democracy, the TDG, employs full universal suffrage. And I would even argue that the age limit could be lowered as TDG voting is different.
I do occasionally tag on to Ms. Martinchek's and Mr. Haque's work. While they are popular writers on Medium, I get more traction with these tags than writing original articles. I do not have the resources to write daily rants that should lead to better acceptance with the Medium algorithms. Nor would I want to write about the same thing each day, just finding new ways to change out a few words.
I find both Mr. Haque's and Ms. Martinchek's work empty of solutions. Ms. Martincheck is already sowing seeds of doubt on Mr. Biden's efforts. And this will only assist the counter forces against Mr. Biden. She somehow believes she can bend Mr. Biden will to govern her way, totally forgetting that Mr. Biden won the election, not her. Ms. Martincheck has no sense of practical politics. She is doing more harm than good.
BTW, I got at least three approvals for my response to Ms. Martinchek. A few people like what I am doing.
And maybe I spent only five minutes crafting that response.
