Anyways, I have my own example of normalcy bias.

I have invented an alternative democracy. It has no political parties. Average people will need to build it. It will take about 10 to 20 years.

The normalcy bias shows up in that nearly all people I engage with seem to believe the current version of democracy will somehow fix itself.
