I got a personal invite to join Mastodon. I didn't see much point in joining. I thought that results for my TDG will probably be the same as they are on Medium and the other places I have tried promoting the TDG on.
As I was perusing through the site yesterday, it seems Mastodon is funded by donations. For that reason, I decided to sign on. Now I'll need a month or two to figure out how this social media really works.
Mastodon likely has the same problem with whacko posts and need to police things. It should be the owner of the social media to decide what stays or goes, not the government.
