I got censured by Google Ads for trying to promote my alternative democracy on their platform. Not on my ideas, per se, but because Google didn't want to be seen as promoting one party over another--or directly getting involved in the 2020 election. Apparently my key words and graphic words of "politics" "democracy" et el were enough to earn the Google censor's ban of an outsider interfering in American politics.

I wonder what will happen when my ideas really get some traction.

As much as I believe some trash should not be passed around the internet, the consequences of that censorship are bigger than any benefits.

As another Medium contributor put it, allowing free speech of "bad" things on the internet allows the authorities to know who these people are--and follow their activities, if necessary.
