I guess I have learned the hard way just to keep my mouth shut in these situations. It helps keep the peace, but seldom does it resolve the underlying cause.
Too many people don’t want to be accountable to their part in why the misfortune happened to them. When I hear “blame, blame, blame, woe is me, it wasn’t my fault”, I just want to walk out of the room.
But like this article says, these people may not be in a straight frame of mind. Maybe time is needed for them to see their part in the misfortune.
