I had bought into the concept of “a job I fully enjoy”. Then a few things happened in my life, and this “pursuit of happiness” was given a lower priority.

Nowadays, a job is a means to earn a living. I have work that is reasonable meaningful. And I have reasonable co-workers and supervisors. And that is sufficient. And I have interesting hobbies. Going after my dream job is not that important.
