I had thought of putting myself on the Medium paywall. From your story, there doesn’t seem to be enough money to justify going through the learning curve. Plus I’m from Canada, and there seems to be more hoops non-American writers need to jump through. I think you just confirmed that putting myself on the paywall is not worth it.
