I had to get a few facts sorted out for this article. I'm not a firearms user, so I'm not up on all the current laws.
There seems to be a "licensed user" law currently in Canada. This means I can no longer go the prairie with my brother's 22 rifle and shoot gophers. Somehow I would have to get a 22-user license.
I know a few hunters and have not heard them complain about a firemarm user license. It would be only another "permit" to hunt. But I should verify this information.
Dave Tomlinson has passed away. Maybe his mission has moved forward.
By all means, pass this idea along.
