I have a different experience with "Impedimenta".

In 2009, I got all the pieces of my alternative democracy fitting together. My previous versions, since 1997, had some big flaws.

I also realized that it would take 10 to 20 years to build this alternative democracy as we need to collectively acquire a few more humanistic values. But this time frame was not a problem in 2009: I thought western democracy still has 20 years before it runs its course.

It seems we might not make it to 2029.

I find it so strange that many world citizens know there is something wrong with western democracy, yet cannot investigate alternatives.
