I have saved this article for further study. Here are my thought at this point.
The first part was perhaps the best explanation of the faults of FPTP I have come across. I like the phrase about how, collectively, voters do compensate somewhat for flaws in the FPTP. This explains why Canada (FPTP) has adopted a social democratic economy similar to the Nordic countries (PR)
The later parts had math and terminology that I will need to digest. I have my doubts voters will ever take their voting intention to the level the author would like.
I was surprised that "proportional representative" was not mentioned in this article. If I missed it, it seems to be buried. In my mind, PR is great for allowing voters to cast a non-tactical vote.

The article seems to believe that political parties are an integral part of any democracy. I say that all political parties need to be removed from democracy.
