I have to agree with most of this essay (I'm from Brooks, where our premier now resides).

It is so strange that much of the UCP support comes from people who stand the most to lose from privatizing health care.

You alluded to corruption. When such a societal change happens, there will be wealthy people who will find a way to get a little wealthier. And this may indeed be the driving force behind this change.

We really need to get rid of all political parties.
