I have to agree with much of what you said. I have to wonder if recent "right" intrusions into Medium might be paid for their efforts (and not by our Medium fees).

Anyways, I have an ulterior reason for being on Medium. I have invented a different kind of democratic governance, and I am trying to promote. If you are interested in a democratic system that should alleviate your concerns, follow my byline.

The alternative is wait until the current system decides to change itself.
