I have to commend you on taking on the challenge of formally challenging your adversary. The outcome will probably not be in your favor.
Maybe these guys reform their ways after going through such a trial, so the trial could be construed as a successful outcome. Or maybe they get emboldened after being acquitted; they have a warped psyche.
My sister chose to not to pursue a challenge. She was not sexually assaulted because she was not pretty enough. But the fellow still played domination games with her. Somehow things arranged themselves such she was no longer under his sphere of influence. Otherwise, she probably would have quit. But it took the employer 25 years to figure out this fellow was a predator.
I have one indirect experience with this kind of challenge. A work colleauge was suspended. Management kept things We on the outside did not get the full story, but some kind of sexual assault was in the rumor mill. Management did an inquiry; there was no civil or criminal investigation. My colleague was re-instated. My assessment of his character was that he was not of the type to do these things. I concluded a false allegation had occurred.
But I known fellows who I would have not been so generous with a false allegations assessment.
Again, I think we need to look at patterns, not incidents. Our legal system is not well constructed in this regards, but it can go there when it really wants to.
