I have to disagree. My experience is that chasing after "the perfect image" does not work.
I developed a business English program based on my experience of teaching business English in Europe. It put people into simulations where they can to use simple business calculations while in simulated business conversations. The program asked more effort from its teachers and students than the business programs from the popular publishers.
I went through at least four iterations of making the presentation better. None worked, and I eventually abandoned the project.
My first TDG website went through several layout and text changes on the landing page to entice visitors to read beyond the landing page. Nothing worked.
In the end, I had two products no one wanted. All the dressing up was to no avail.
My second TDG website has the same layout as it did in 2019. I have experimented with some text changes. But text changes don't cost much.
In the end, I believe the presentation has to be reasonable. The people will eventually make up their own mind, regardless of whether the presentation is a B- or an A+.
