I haven't run into many MAGA-type people on Medium. So I had to check the comments to see if any MAGA people gave a piece of their mind. It seems they are not here.

Anyways, I see this whole movement as a re-ordering of society back to the Orwell Ratio (I think you've read this article).

MAGA is just wants to be in the 2% or 13%. For that, they will sacrifice any kind of logical analysis that goes against their goal to find a higher position in society than they have now. So their behaviour is actually (as Dr. Spock would say) quite logical.
