I heard about this movement about 15 years ago. It was conservative based, and it seems it has bought into some of the whackier conservative ideas.

The fact that Congress cannot do a darn thing about 3/4 of the states approviing an amendment is a brilliant check-and-balance.

Will this conservative movement actually get enough traction to get a 3/4 vote. Unlikely!

But the door can be opened in the other direction.
