I just read an article from a left-wing writer. Despite having never been part of a political party, run for public office, or even been elected and had to deal with intricacies of forming bills and passing them into laws, she knows more about running the country than Joe Biden. Somehow she believes her articles on Medium are shifting the Biden administration to her way of thinking .

You say "it can't be done."

Then, I shall ask: "Why bother responding to me?"

If I truly thought like you and the USA was doomed to be run by Republicans and Democrats for the next 1000 years (and soon maybe just Republicans), I would not bother writing about and promoting an alternative democracy.

Instead I would be sitting on hill overlooking the river. Nice lawn chair with iced tea and corned beef sandwhichs coming my way. I would sit and watch the ship slowly sink to the bottom of the river. I would say: "Oh, that's too bad. People are drowning. I wish someone else would do something about that.. . . I need another sandwich."

But to spend time and energy to chastise others for trying to fix things, that doesn't make much sense to me.
