I kind of followed this group. I was certainly impressed with their ads.

In theory, they should have been a stronger force in the election. And maybe they were: there was enough Biden votes that went R down ticket.

Unfortunately the Trump phenom has been just too unpredictable for even the best of political fortune tellers.

I doubt the Lincoln Project had a sinister motive. Yes, they might use that $8m leftover to pay high salaries to wind down the organization. Even if that happens, $8m is a far cry from the $200m+ Mr. Trump has at his disposal.

But we just might be seeing a new party on the American horizon.

But we really need to get rid of all money out of elections. I have a solution. Elections in Tiered Democratic Governane will be based on good character and capacity for governance. Big money cannot put fools and crooks into public office.
