I kind of have my doubts that a Trump partisan will not give his voting intentions to pollster.
The polls may still be accurate, but polls do not reflect the desire to get to the polls. Your average Trump supporter is willing to wait in a long line to vote for their favorite. If the laws allowed, this supporter would go back to the end of line and vote again.
The average D supporter, on the other hand, is “soft” support. A long line at the polling station or the right kind of ad before election day could convince them the effort is not worth it.
Ms. Pelosi’s reluctance to go through impeachment shows her understanding of her party’s support.
