I know that CNN was talking about how the $15 wage got taken off the table. As they have a bias to certain things and have to keep those things simple, I was a suspicious about their explanation.

Your explanation is probably true. But I still don't understand it, probably because I don't have the background. And it just might be a rule that had a partisan interpretation coming from a back room. It seems to me that enough people in the Democratic Party didn't want this change.

But for the worker earning $11.50 an hour, for sure your explanation does not make much sense. It's kind of hard for these workers to see how democracy is working for them.
