I like Kris Kristopherson's definition: "Freedom just another word for nothing left to lose. And nothing ain't worth nothing, but it's free."
I'm not exactly what that means, but it shows that freedom is one of these things that is hard to define. And yet we shout it out as if we all know what it is.
For example, I've been on Medium for three years, with a motive of trying to promote my alternative democracy. People have the freedom to read my articles--or not. They have the freedom to take my ideas further--or not.
And yet these same people complain so much about the failings of our current system(s) that one would think they could spend a couple of hours investigating this new way. No, they can't. They prefer the popular doomposters on Medium who offer no solution..
So my question is: "Are these Medium people truly free?"
