I made a comment on another article: "The actions of the IMF in Russian and Ukraine in the 1990s had a lot to do with where we are today". One of my more popular comments: probably 15 claps. I think there is a lot of truth to this.

Regardless of whatever decision we make in the public realm, it is tainted because the process to reach that decision is corrupt. No decision is free of this stink.

While we could contend ourselves that somehow we have to make some decision and maybe some decisions are more right than they are wrong, our democratic processes are not great at finding the more capable people--and giving the tools to work together to find the better decisions.

Anyways, great article. The Ukrainian nation needs to hold itself to account for its WW2 ways.
