I often watch PBS from Spokane. There is a show called "Inside Olympia" which discusses societal issues in Washington state. There is some great dialogue happening. The state Republicans seem to be normal people. They can make a good conservative argument for their positions.

I think Alaska would prefer to be its own nation.

Hawaii too. Remember, they were forcibly annexed.
