I ran into an activist yesterday on Mastodon called the Bearded Guy. I went to his website. He and his groups are doing some neat stuff around Memphis. But he says activists need to get a job to pay the bills, then use their spare time for activist causes.

It seems the most of the social justice warriors here on Medium are trying to paying the bills writing about activism, not actually doing it.

Most of what what you say here has a lot of truth. Actually fixing the problem will mean a loss of identity that they have put years into defining themselves.

The highers up in the Democrat Party fit this bill rather well. They are more interested in their status, influence, and power than actually fixing things.
