I read Dr. Fritof Capra's book "The Turning Point" (written circa 1980). Dr. Capra describes how we have cast aside of model of science and humanities and replaced them with better ones to understand the world. This trend is likely to continue.

Except Dr. Capra just could not let go of western democracy as a means to govern ourselves. Strange that he saw positive evolution in everything else.
