I recall correctly, you said that you would refrain from commenting on American politics a month or so ago. I know it is so hard to stay away.

Much of what you said here is so true. Whoever wins in 2024 is probably going to be run out the country.

If you or your readers really want some new ideas on democracy, check out my byline. I'm not sure voting for third parties is going to accomplish much; that might scare the political elites into a one -party state. The Republicans already want to go that direction. But the Democrats, the saviours that they are, could also justify such a move.
