Basically, this newspaper thrives on political intrigue generating its stories which eventually brings in advertising $$$$. But so too for many other media.

Without the intrigue, the media lose a lot of their financial base. The current electoral system and the current media are a in a symbiotic relationship.

It's time for a new way.
