I remember a documentary of American psychologists trying to make sense of Hitler is the early parts of WW2. Without having ever met the man, they watched films and read translated news articles. It was astonishing how well they predicted how this man would behave during the rest of the war.

In a like manner, there must be an underground platoon of psychologists out there that are trying to crack the code to deflate enough of the Trump base to case him to lose the election.
