I see the signs of a failing campaign. He no longer has a 50/50 chance of keeping his job.

But anything is possible with this man. We should even plan for a small civil war, with some of his worshippers partaking in terrorist acts for a year or two.

The bigger problem is that if the American system can elect an inept authoritarian as president, it can also elect a more competent authoritarian. The next populist leader just might be able to pull off a coup.
