I signed on Mastodon about the same time you wrote this article.

Someone contacted me and coached me how to get started. I might have been able to figure out that initial learning curve, but it was nice to have "beginning instructions" laid out for me. When spare time arises, I poke around Mastodon a little bit more. Maybe in a year, I'll have figured out all the angles.

Many years ago, I tried Twitter to promote my alternative democracy. Mostly noise, from what I could see. I gave up Twitter in three months. My alternative democracy was too cerebral for this forum.

Mastodon likes like a more intelligent Twitter. I guess I'll know in three months.
